Just to update you on some things that will happen over the next 3 weeks.

 Forms: Stop by the main office to review your child’s paperwork.  Many forms can just be initialed rather than redone completely. Ashley or Peggy can help you with this.

 Yearbook: Parent Laura Sefcik is working on the first HHC yearbook.  Please contact her if you have any questions about the project.

 Contracts: The Fall contracts have been distributed, please be sure to sign and return by June 2 to avoid paying a deposit.  If you received a contract and you are not planning to enroll in the fall please let the office know.  

Hand Jives: Our choir will perform on June 1 at 9AM

 Skate Party: Everyone is invited to attend the Skate Party on June 1 from 6-8:00.  Flyers will be distributed this week.

 Family Picnic & Classroom Awards: On Friday June 3, families are invited to join their student for a picnic lunch. 

 Field Day: June 6th (raindate 6/7) will be our annual field day.  All students will participate in fun games throughout the day!

 Last Day of School: June 7th is the last day of school.  All personal items will be sent home including snacks, toileting supplies, and extra clothes.

 Golf Outing: The 2nd annual HHC Golf Outing will be July 29th at Cumberland Trails.  The Cost is $75/golfer.  Prizes will be awarded for the winning team, longest drive and closest to the Pin. Please contact Adam Brown or Sharee Brandler for more info.  golf@helpinghandscenter.com

 Camp Info: Camp will begin on Wednesday June 22.  As a reminder camp is Monday-Thursday 8:45-3:15, aftercare is available and can be scheduled by emailing aftercare@helpinghandscenter.com.  There will be no camp on Monday July 4th.   

 Summer Therapies: The therapists will be doing Summer schedules on June 8th-9th.  If your child is not attending camp and you want to continue therapies please be sure to return the summer form.  If you need a form please let us know.

 School Closed: HHC will be closed from 6/10-6/19.

As always, the stork is a regular visitor to Helping Hands Center.  Over the next few months there will be some staff changes and new staff members to accommodate 9 maternity leaves. You will receive information from the individual staff member if any of the leaves will affect your child.

Over the last year we have been able to put computers in every classroom as well as establish a Computer Lab for student use.  We are now nearly complete with the upgrading of these computers and have added a server to allow for some new programs.  These programs will be outlined in future posts.

Our goal for this Blog is to combine important information along with the general cuteness that happens here everyday.  We will change the names to protect privacy!
