Before and Aftercare Program

Before care is available everyday from 8:15-8:45. Aftercare is available each day after school until 5:00 PM. The Helping Hands Center Before and Aftercare Program is staffed by full time staff members and interns, and several student volunteers. The purpose of Before and Aftercare is to provide a safe environment for students to play before and after school activities. Before care activities consist of unstructured play and snack or breakfast time (provided by parents). Aftercare activities consist of planned and structured activities as well as snack and downtime activities. The fees for the program are as follows:

Before Care:
Monday through Friday: $8.00 per day or
Full week discount: $35/week

After Care:
Monday through Thursday: $15.00/day
Friday: $25
Full week discount: $80/week

Title XX funding is available for families who qualify.
