School Age Classrooms

(Kindergarten – Sixth Grade)

  • Small Group and Individualized Instruction
  • 1:2 or 1:3 Teacher to Student Ratio
  • Extracurricular Activities such as art, physical fitness, music education, and transition/daily living skills
  • Average classroom size of 9 students
  • Students grouped by age and grade level
  • Curricula includes a variety of resources from McGraw Hill and Scott Foresman, including, but not limited to Breakthrough to Literacy, enVisionMath, and Unique Learning Systems
  • Supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Licensed Psychologist, and Masters Level Educator
  • Teachers and therapists target IEP goals, as well as other developmental and age appropriate skills
  • Classroom teachers collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, music therapists, and behavior analysts to develop appropriate treatment plans
