Here are some general parent reminders:
Logo Wear: T-shirts are available for purchase. See your child’s teacher or the HHC office for an order form.
Winter Reminders: Don’t forget!! Students go outside if the temperature is over 35 degrees. Please remember to dress your child appropriately.
Closings and Delays: During inclement weather closings and delays can be found on all major stations.
Illnesses: As a reminder students that are ill must be kept home from school. If your child has a fever, vomiting or diarrhea while at school they will be sent home. In addition, we will be extra careful with students displaying flu-like symptoms.

Medication Administration (JFS 01217): If your child needs to receive any medication, supplement or lotion during the school day, please complete both forms (JFS 01217 and JFS 01236).
Medical-Physical Health Care Plan (JFS 01236)
Child Medical Statement (JFS 01305): All students must have a current medical statement, signed by a physician, on file with HHC at all times.
Earn cash for Helping Hands:
Giant Eagle Apples for Education Program: A percentage of your purchases at Giant Eagle can be donated to HHC. Go to http://www.gianteagle.com/Save/Supporting-Our-Schools/Apples-for-the-Students/ and enter our code 3389. You must create an account with Giant Eagle and have a Giant Eagle Advantage Card to participate.
Verizon Wireless: Qualified enrollments with Verizon Wireless earn HHC $25. A flyer is available in the HHC office.
Scrip Gift Cards: The Scrip program allows you to give to Helping Hands Center while you shop. They offer gift cards to everywhere from Dave & Buster’s to Kroger’s. Click here for a partial list of participants and the HHC enrollment code. Purchase all your gift cards for the holidays and even for trips to the grocery store or the gas station from Scrips and help HHC earn cash. It’s fundraising without the hassle! Box Tops: Clip and send in your Box Tops as often as you can. Register at www.boxtops4education.com to see a list of participating products, complete earning details for Helping Hands (including HHC’s goal and earnings to date), print coupons for Box Top products and earn additional cash for Helping Hands by shopping online.
Labels for Education: The Labels for Education program has been supporting schools for over 35 years. Clip and send in your labels to earn cash for HHC. Visit the Labels for Education web site at http://www.labelsforeducation.com for a list of participating products (including Campbell’s Soup, Prego, Pepperidge Farm, Spaghettio’s, Swanson, etc.), view HHC’s earnings to date, bonus offers and more.
Kroger Plus Card Rewards Program Register your Kroger Plus card online and each time you use your Plus card HHC will receive a percentage of your sale. Click on “Community Rewards Information” and search for Helping Hands Center.
Goodsearch Internet Search Tool: Use the Goodsearch Internet search tool instead of Google or other search tools and each time you do a search HHC will earn money. To register, go to www.goodsearch.com and choose Helping Hands Center for Special Needs as your designated cause. To set your Internet home page too Goodsearch, go to your Internet settings under Tools, then Options and type the Goodsearch web link as your Home Page link. Each time you open your Internet browser it will automatically show the Goodsearch web site.
